Inspired by my own Leo Mom's love for fashion and makeup, I have always wanted to let my creativity shine through in art and design. When I first got my nail certification in 2020, I wanted to do all of the craziest designs to get ready for the world to open back up. Then something amazing happened. I became a mom and while I was learning new skills for the first time, I was also learning about the way moms are treated post-partum.
After breastfeeding my son while getting a brazilian wax in that wild stage where we are all just finding our way as parents and partners (which honestly could have been my villain origin story), I started to think about all of the other moms out there who had appointments or job interviews or special events coming up but they couldn't find childcare or bring their baby along due to shop policies.
Who was supposed to help them get ready? Who was there for that girlie who had to bring her toddler with her because the daycare was closed? Who was there for the mommy who couldn't pump and had to breastfeed during her appointment? So this is what has given Lewks by Lanna a renaissance of its own.
